Toronto Law Association – Mindset Mastery for Lawyers

This session will take place on Thursday, April 18 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm and will be held in person.

This program by Sandra Bekhor, Practice Management Coach & Positive Intelligence Coach at Bekhor Management, is a 6-month course in mental fitness designed to improve workplace performance, relationships, and wellness.

During this session, 9 topics will be discussed:

  • Establish goals that impact workplace performance, relationships, and wellness, for yourself as an individual and for your team at your firm.
  • Develop greater mastery over your mind so you can re-center even on challenging days.
  • Expose limiting beliefs and damage caused by your inner critic.
  • Gain insights on the self-sabotage of performance, relationships, and wellness.
  • Learn to shift from your inner critic to inner wisdom. Explore ways to reframe challenges as gifts or opportunities (such as knowledge, power, or inspiration).
  • Discover how to convert empathy towards yourself and others into power.
  • Discover ways to tap into your inner wisdom and take skillful actions. Explore 5 ways to engage with inner wisdom (empathize, explore, innovate, navigate, activate) and creative methods to use each option.
  • Explore wider applications of mental fitness training, in practicing law and in life. Experiment with a technique to navigate uncertainty, doubt, restlessness, and stagnation.
  • Assess progress and establish ways to utilize these new tools moving forward. Explore ways to evaluate accomplishments and determine how to apply the learning to the ongoing practice of law and to other areas of life.
