FOLA appoints Ian Hu as Director of Policy and Advocacy
Jan 15, 2024 Modified: January 15, 2024The Federation of Ontario Law Associations (FOLA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Hu as Director of Policy and Advocacy, effective January 15, 2024.
“Ian Hu will be a tremendous asset to FOLA in carrying out our mandate as the voice of the practising lawyer,” said Chair Douglas W. Judson. “Mr. Hu’s 15 years of experience as a lawyer in private practice, as the face of the province’s legal malpractice insurer, and in leadership positions with law associations in Canada and the United States will serve us and the legal profession well.”
“I am excited to help FOLA and its stakeholders push forward the justice agenda. We will enthusiastically meet the challenges the legal system faces now and into the future,” said Mr. Hu.
